PSUWeb - Penn State Web Users Group

PSUWeb is a new users group that consolidates the Web Standards and Usability groups, and welcomes discussion and activity on all topics. PSUWeb is for developers, designers, administrators, writers and editors. PSUWeb organizes activities meetings, presentations, hot teams, sprint teams, and Web resources. PSUWeb encourages people to step into short term or ongoing leadership roles to organize learning and development activities.

PSUWeb welcomes Special Interest Groups on any topics. Communications from the SIGs could be through existing or new Ning groups. Actions by the SIGs might include hot teams on new technologies, for example:

- implementations of AJAX libraries

- demonstrations of sharing content among Web sites

- usability testing, SEO, and Web analytics

- professional quality presentations for the Web conference

SIGs could also be coding and documentation sprint teams. Sprint teams are the best way to learn new skills and expand your professional network.
